We will have a vacancy on the school board here at Brookville Area School District. Residents who are interested in serving on the board for the remaining fifteen months of that term are encouraged to attend the next board meeting, which is Monday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Elementary. At that time, interested parties will be interviewed publicly and the board will entertain motions to fill the seat – with the new member potentially joining the board in September. This is a great way to serve kids and the community!
