Medical Information for Teams Visiting Brookville High School

What Visiting Coaches and Athletic Trainers can expect

This page provides information regarding items and services provided to teams visiting Brookville.  If special accommodations are needed, please feel free to contact the athletic trainer at csheer@basd.us in advance to make arrangements.

Fall Sports

Varsity Football

Supplies will be kept on the home sideline and are available, if needed, during the game.  Items available include: injury ice, AED, crutches, splints, and ambulance.  Please note that a doctor is not present on the sidelines during games.

If you need to tape during pre-game, the visiting team ATC may use the training room in the high school  It is a short walk from the locker rooms.  Please call ahead to make arrangements.

Jr. Varsity, 7th & 8th Grade, and 9th Grade Football

Same supplies as listed above will be available on the home sideline.

If an athlete needs to be taped prior to the start of the game, please have the coaches talk to the athletic trainer and taping can be done.  If the ATC is not in the stadium, visiting team coaches should talk to the Brookville coaches and they can call the athletic trainer.  If arrangements to tape the visiting team at their school cannot be made, please email the athletic trainer at csheer@basd.us in advance to make arrangements.

Volleyball

Items available include water cooler (please bring your own bottles), injury ice, and medical kit.

Boys and Girls Soccer

Items available include injury ice and medical kit.

Cross Country

Items available include injury ice at finish and the athletic trainer.

Golf

No supplies provided.

7/8 Girls Basketball

Supplies as needed and medical kit. 

Winter Sports

Boys and Girls Basketball

Items available include water cooler (bring your own cups/bottles), injury ice, and medical kit.

Aux Gym Basketball

Medical Kits and supplies as need. 

Wrestling

Items available include water cooler (bring your own cups/bottles), injury ice, and bags.

Swimming

Items available include injury ice and medical kit.

Spring Sports

Baseball and Softball

Both Varsity Baseball and Softball fields are located off-campus.  Water is not provided, but injury ice may be available.  The athletic trainer will be at one event and can be called to other events by Brookville coaches.  Please note that the response time for the athletic trainer may vary based on circumstances.

Track & Field

Items available include injury ice and medical kit.
